Aloe and the Beauty Industry

Aloe Vera is not just known for its health benefits. It supports a billion dollar beauty industry. Did Cleopatra use this miracle plant? She most probably did. Rub some aloe juice from a plant on your face. Within a minute your skin feels like velvet and is rejuvenated. This plant is rich in vitamin C, E and beta carotene. This plant has been known for its nourishing and anti-aging qualities for thousands of years. It has also been associated with longevity and is used in various beauty products.





Acne is caused when the follicles of your skin become clogged. Aloe is used in the treatment of acne as it contains glycoproteins which reduces inflammation and helps with healing.
Aloe has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and is rich in vitamins A, B, and E as well as amino acids. 


 Aloe Gel and Cucumber Face Mask
This face mask is good for wrinkles.
100g Aloe gel
100g Cucumber
Add the Aloe gel and cucumber into a blender.
Add a little water and blend until smooth.
Apply the mixture onto your face and leave on for 60 minutes
Clean you face with warm water.

Aloe Vera penetrates the skin to its deepest layers. It increases the elasticity of the skin making it more flexible through collagen repairs. It acts as a moisturizer and keeps your skin hydrated. The gel may be used to treat eczema and various other skin problems. The Chinese have used it as a medicine for thousands of years.
